Software to Coach Professional Managers Adds AI-Generated Performance Reviews and Closes Seed Financing Round

Opre, a coaching and leadership development software company, today announced it is rebranding from Teaming, adding AI-assisted performance reviews and has closed a seed financing round.

Opre gives managers and their teams an artificial intelligence assisted professional coach to help them improve the performance of the teams in an increasingly distributed world. Unique to Opre’s approach is a focus on the manager-to-direct-report relationship providing both a structured approach to managing as well as a proprietary 180 degree feedback system for the manager.

The founders of Opre previously worked together at workflow automation software company, LeanKit, which was acquired by Planview in late 2017. The concept of Opre started there as they grew rapidly and needed a better approach to managing a scaling and distributed team with limited time to actually hone their skills as people managers.  The company counts the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Canada’s largest college, Humber College, and FSResidental among their early customers and has just launched AI-generated performance reviews to the product.
